what do you think about putting san pedro through a juicer. i got three kilos coming from bouncing bear. i plan to juice 2-3 lbs , chug the juice and mix the pulp with orange juice. i tried 12 inches last time with mild results. i hope for a break through with 2-3 lbs juiced.

You don’t have to extract it. The Native Americans use it ceremoniously in the form of “buttons”, or dried-up parts of the cactus. They are eaten, sometimes with lemon juice.

You mean naturally, outdoors? If so, no it doesn’t. There are many species of cacti that look similar but that don’t contain mescaline. In fact, the only positive way to identify it is by studying its flowers, which aren’t there most of the time. It can be tricky to identify. Naturally, it grows in the Andes in Chile. That’s far from LA.
